How many times has that little voice inside our heads spoken those words 'But I don't feel like it'?
Make that call - I don't feel like it
Go to the gym - I don't feel like it
Call your friend - I don't feel like it
Do something for your future - I don't feel like it
and many, many more examples I am sure
Our feelings are helpful and essential to living a successful and balanced life. However, sometimes our feelings do not always lead us to things that are good for us.
That's what we should be looking out for...feelings that perhaps stop us from doing things that will benefit us in the long-run.
The next time we don't feel like doing something that we deep down know we really should be...remember the words...whether we feel like it or not, do it anyway.
Doing things creates habits. Habits change behaviour and good behaviours create good results.
Developing good habits are therefore part of the key to successful self-mastery and one way to help with this is to...do it anyway!
