"Financial peace isn't the acquisition of stuff. It's learning to live on less than you make, so you can give money back and have money to invest. You can't win until you do this."
~ Dave Ramsey ~

Money is not the root of all evil...the love of money is! This quote from Dave Ramsey is about 'financial peace', or to put it a different way, a healthy relationship with money that is good for society and for our soul.
- Living within our means.
- Having money to invest (and save).
- Giving back to others.
These are the tenets of this 'financial peace philosophy'. I share this way of thinking about money and wealth, but if my own personal financial philosophy is not enough then, just look at the great giving back commitment of 170+ of the richest people on the world via The Giving Pledge: https://givingpledge.org/
Gratitude and contentment can come from simple living, focused more on relationships and experiences than on material things, providing security and a comfortable life for our families and giving to those less privileged than ourselves. Now that has to be good for society...and for our souls doesn't it?
