Motivation Monday – Richard’s Insight

I like to help people out and be honest with my advice in areas where I have some level of knowledge or experience. However, I have sometimes found that when I do I don’t get thanked for doing so.

Be prepared to receive criticism, questions and doubt when offering even heartfelt and truthful advice. Be prepared to lose the odd friend or two as well. But equally, know that you will be respected by those that value your honesty and so deepen the bond and level of trust that you share with those fewer, closer people as a result.

Truth and honesty is not always the easiest path…but it is still the best one to take!
