Questions, questions, so many questions...but where are all the answers?
How about a property Q&A site?
HomeQ.co.uk is a bit like Quora.com but exclusively for property...not specifically property investing but all of those niggly little questions that you inevitably want answered can be thrown out there into this community to answer.
The community comprises property professionals of various kinds, estate and letting agents, insurance and finance brokers and of course a fair smattering of experienced and average property Janet and Johns thrown in for good measure. It looks quite new and we shall see how it develops over time no doubt.
Some example questions:
When is the deposit paid?
Should you get a structural survey on a flat?
Tenants moving extra people in - what should I do?
Can a mortgage offer be withdrawn after exchange?
Is there an online report to show seasonal trends in house prices?
These are just some of the question on the site currently and most if not all have an answer of some description.
I took the liberty of posting a question earlier today to give it a try...and I also answered one in the spirit of reciprocity too...I will let you know how I get on. [Update: just over a day after I posted my not-so-straightforward question I had a reply!]
