Today I discuss my personal interpretation of Margin of Safety. This was made famous by the likes of Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger, all 'value investors'. Their definition of margin of safety is the difference between an asset's (or company's) intrinsic value versus its market value. I take that concept a little further as you will hear, considering individual projects and rental investments, our property portfolio and indeed applying the concept to our total net worth too. If you want to feel safe, you will need to get to grips with the concept of margin of safety.
